Interview with Philipp Fischer

What prompted you to apply for this job? What about this position interested you the most?

By now, my ambition is to truly make an impact in my role. To build and create something that provides long-term, sustainable value for the company. Since my position focuses heavily on using data to provide the best basis for decision-making. A principle that is lived every day at craftworks - it was a perfect fit!

What were you doing before craftworks?

Before craftworks, I focused on building and implementing strategies that provided long-term, sustainable value for the companies I worked for. I didn't just want to deliver short-term results. I wanted to create a data-driven foundation that helped the business grow consistently over time.

What energizes you at work?

I truly enjoy collaborating with people who share the same drive to make things better than they were before.

What about your work do you like the most?

The most rewarding part of my work is creating an environment where everyone can thrive. By leveraging data to optimize experiences, I help streamline processes so that both the business and the individuals within it can concentrate on their core strengths. This creates a win-win situation for our clients, the team, and myself.

Could you please tell us more about your educational career?

While my education provided me with a technical foundation, my career path led me into marketing. A direction I’ve pursued with passion ever since. I strive to constantly evolve at the intersection of technology and business.

What advice would you give someone who's just starting out in your field?

I firmly believe that regardless of the industry, the key to success is continuous growth. My advice is to stay curious and just keep learning, learning, learning.

What behavior or personality trait do you most attribute your success to, and why?

For me, curiosity is the key. It makes me curious about people’s needs. Whether they are my colleagues or customers. By asking the right questions and staying curious about how we can improve the status quo.

Could you tell us more about yourself? For example: what are you hobbies and where do you like to spend time most?

I’m a family person and a big fan of traveling. Whenever there’s time, I’m also into sports. Whether I’m playing myself or just watching a game really depends on the sport.

What movie have you seen recently and would you recommend watching it?

Its not a movie, but a series and its called Alien: Earth and I would totally recommend if you like science fiction.

What three words would your friends use to describe you?

Reliable, Dedicated and Open-minded.

Coffee or Tea? Coffee. All kinds of it. Since starting at craftworks, I’ve shifted mostly to espressos - not that the work is to blame.

What's your favorite meal? I love food in general. It’s not possible to decide what’s my favorite..

Tell me one place you always wanted to travel to? There are too many to count, to be honest. But if I had to name one, it would definitely be somewhere in Italy.
