Let’s start with how you landed at craftworks?
Prior to joining craftworks, I lived in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Being passionate about traveling and cultural exploration, I felt it was the right time to challenge myself to grow a little bit more and move abroad. Vienna stole my heart, and I made the decision to make it my new home. Right from the initial conversations with craftworks, I felt it was a match. Believing that everything unfolds for a purpose, I eagerly accepted the opportunity to embark on this exciting new chapter with craftworks in Vienna.
What do you do at craftworks, and in what circumstances would I come to you for something?
My role at craftworks is Performance Marketing Specialist and I am responsible for the SEO, SEA, and product marketing activities. Feel free to reach out to me with any ideas related to brand & product communication, marketing events, and digital marketing initiatives.
How do you prefer to start your day?
Upon waking up, I start my day by drinking a glass of water, establishing my intentions, and tuning in to meditation sounds. This routine helps me start the day with a clear mind.
How do you go about continuing to develop your professional skills and knowledge?
It's a continuous journey for me. I consistently strive to stay informed on various digital marketing subjects. At the moment, I am enrolled in a Google Ads course to enhance my expertise, and this extends to other subjects beyond just marketing.
Could you tell us more about yourself? For example: what are your hobbies and where do you like to spend your time most?
Well, this might take a while as I have quite a few hobbies. I'm an active person who enjoys engaging in various sports and keeping my body in motion. Outdoor activities like hiking, running, biking, skiing, via ferrata, climbing, and bouldering are some of my favorites. I find swimming to be a great way to relax. Indoors, I delve into hobbies such as crocheting toys, reading, writing, cooking, and playing board games with family and friends. Recently, I've also taken up dancing.
Which music is playing on your player right now?
When I'm learning or working, I typically listen to Lofi music.. If there are lyrics, I start singing and dancing. I'm just aiming for a calming atmosphere, so I opt for anything soothing.
What movie have you seen recently and would you recommend watching it?
"Under the Tuscan Sun" popped up on my Netflix, and since I adore Tuscany, I was excited to watch it. I'd definitely suggest it to all my female friends, though I'm not sure about recommending it to the guys since it's a RomCom.
What three words would your friends use to describe you?
Loving, energetic, caring.
What’s one thing you’re learning now, and why is it important to you?
At the moment I am learning German. I've set it as a resolution for this year, since I moved to Vienna. I aim to better integrate myself here. Plus, it would be very cool to speak German with all my German friends, with whom I've only spoken English so far.
Could you please tell us more about your educational career?
I studied Marketing at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies. In my third year of bachelor, I embarked on my Erasmus semester at the ESCE International Business School in Paris. After completing my studies in Bucharest and my Erasmus program, I felt the desire to challenge myself further. I moved to Sweden, where I pursued my Master's in International Marketing at the Jönköping International Business School. The master program offered highly practical courses that allowed me to work with local companies seeking international expansion. I valued the diverse cultural environment, surrounded by colleagues from around the world.
