Marija, What did you do before craftworks?
I was working at a big insurance company, but I wouldn’t be here if it was fun, you know what i mean.
What prompted you to apply for this job? What about this position interested you the most?
I was really unhappy with my old job and I was looking for a new job. I knew I wanted to work in a team and with people, but not with customers. The most interesting part about my position is that I'm taking on a supporting role in HR as well as in office management and I think that’s a great balance, because I'm able to be creative, to learn new stuff, it simply combines things I like in private.
What does your typical day at craftworks look like?
Actually there is no guide, because each day isn’t the same. Typically I get to the office first, take a seat and have a look at the agenda for the day.
What in your work do you enjoy the most?
Everything. I think I enjoy the most, that I love the job and that there are great people here.
What behavior or personality trait do you most attribute your success to, and why?
I think it's my positive mindset and I love to laugh. I think it creates a nice atmosphere when it comes to working with me, I mean I at least hope so.
How do you prefer to start your day?
With a BIG glass of water and fresh air, I’d say. Because I don’t drink coffee.
What’s one thing you’re learning now, and why is it important to you?
I’m learning what an impact a good workplace can have on your life. It’s important to me because I have the comparison to a bad workplace and how it was connected to a lot of issues in my life, for example my health.
Could you tell us more about yourself? For example: what are your hobbies and where do you like to spend your time most?
I think something you should know about me is that I'm a huge Harry Potter fan. When I watch the movies I almost cry everytime bc it fulfils me with a different kind of joy, and I can feel the dopamine spreading through my body. I also like to build legos and I love to read. I’m actually all about the cozy vibes at home because it’s like my safe space. I love to be at home but also like to be outside. It's kind of a 50/50 situation.
What movie have you seen recently and would you prefer to watch it?
Actually the last movie i've seen was orphan-first kill. I watched it at the cinema, because I love going to the cinema and horror movies as well. Especially when it is a good movie, and it indeed was.
Which music is playing on your player right now?
I love a lot of different genres but today I listened to soul classics. On my way to work i listened to one of Dusty Springfield’s songs called “Son of a preacher son”.
